My mom sent me this picture of Mason wearing his Aunt Nikki's retro waitress glasses from Halloween last year. His 'Cheese" face is priceless.

So Caroline had been screaming for about an hour and big brother Mason said "I got an idea Mommy, I'll hold Caroline", so I took him up on the offer.....

That lasted all about one minute, when he told me "I want to put her down"

2 months old!!!

Caroline weighed 10 lbs and 3 oz. and was 22 inches long today at her 2 month old checkup.

She is now in the 25th percentile....which she was only in the 5th percentile....so she is growing nicely.

She got her shots....and cried a little bit, but has been doing fine ever since. Of course the pic was taken before the shots. ;)

OH and last night...I was trying to teach him to say Magnets...and he kept saying Maggots..and laughing hysterically,,and while I was getting dinner ready, he kept laughing at the food processor....he was in a goofy mood yesterday


Caroline had a much better night last night...and she is doing great this morning!

**Now for something funny...well kind of. My oldest child decided Sunday night that it would be neat to stick corn up his nose....he didn't think it was too funny when Mommy had to retrieve it with the tweezers. Fortunately, we got it out..and there was another piece in behind it!**

Day out on the Town...well it was actually only 4 hours, but it sure was nice

Today, Chris and I got to get out of the house for a little bit....all by ourselves.

Nana and Pop Q kept the kiddos, while we went to Decatur for lunch. We went to Hancock Fabrics for some stuff for Chris's new sewing machine and my embroidery machine; to Lowes just to look around; out to eat at Red Lobster *yummy* and to Books-A-Million.

It was a nice trip, even if it was only for 4 hours.

Visit from Great Grandma

Mamaw came to visit the grandkids this morning! Mommy was able to get a shower and clean up a little bit while she visited in the living room. She brought Mason some peaches * which he loves* , I think he ate almost 2! Caroline was terrific, she slept nearly the entire time!

Tomorrow, Chris and I are getting to go out! Nana and Pop Q are going to watch the kiddos, while we go to Decatur for lunch and some shopping. I am super excited to get out of the house for a little bit.

Just relaxing. 3 weeks old!

Caroline had her 2 WEEK checkup today! She weighed in at 7 lbs and 8.5 oz. She did great.

She is still having to wear Newborn onesies and some other super small clothes, but I'm sure that will all change in the next couple of weeks.
